- Ammonia-based cleaners
- Drain openers
- Flea powder
- Furniture polishes
- Household batteries
- Motor oil and car batteries
- Oven cleaners
- Paint removers
- Paint thinners
- Photo chemicals
- Rust removers
- Swimming pool chemicals
- Toilet bowl cleaners
- Transmission fluid
The following will NOT be accepted
- Latex and oil based paints - these must go to the Transfer station. It costs $2/gallon-sized container and $1/quart- and pint-sized containers.
- Commercial or industrial generators
- Smoke detectors - They should be returned to the manufacturer for proper disposal
Dioxin contaminated pesticides, etiologicals, explosives, gas cylinders, pathologicals, PCB'sradioactive material, and shock sensitive materials will not be accepted. A trained chemist will be on site to give advise on what to do with such items.
