Planning & Engineering

The Office of Planning and Engineering consists of one Departmental Clerk, as well as the Town Engineer and the Town Planner who serve as professional consultants to various town departments, with primary responsibility to the Board of Selectmen, Planning Board, and Conservation Commission. The office reviews development and subdivision proposals and makes recommendations to various Boards and Commissions. The office implements the Comprehensive Plan, monitors developer mitigation to minimize development impacts, and obtains and administers State and Federal grants.
