Brush Water Tanker Apparatus Request for Proposal

The Town of Milford Select Board and Fire Department invites Request for Proposals from qualified bidders to provide for the design and manufacture of a custom brush water tanker apparatus as set forth in the bid specifications.

Proposals are subject to M.G.L c.30B section 6. The proposer must submit their proposal in separate sealed envelopes bearing on the outside the name and address of the Proposer, addressed to the the Milford Fire Department, Office of the Fire Chief, 21 Birch Street, Milford, MA 01757.

  • The Technical Proposal must be properly filled out, signed, sealed, and endorsed: “Brush Water Tanker Apparatus – Technical Proposal".
  • The Price Proposal must be properly filled out, signed, sealed and endorsed: “Brush Water Tanker Apparatus – Price Proposal".

The proposal documents will be available 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 26, 2021, at the Milford Fire Department, Office of the Fire Chief, 21 Birch Street, Milford, MA 01757 (Monday -Friday  8:30 am - 4:30 pm) and on the Town of Milford website. All proposals are due by 11:00 am, Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Milford Fire Department, Office of the Fire Chief, 21 Birch Street, Milford, MA 01757. All bids shall be publicly opened and read by the Chief Procurement Officer and Fire Chief at that time.

No proposals will be accepted after the time and date specified (11:00 am, Monday, December 27, 2021).

The Select Board, Chief Procurement Officer, and Fire Chief reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to award the contract deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Milford.
