On-Call Mechanical and Facilities Repair for the Milford Water System

The Water Commissioners of the Town of Milford invites sealed bids from qualified bidders to provide non-emergency and emergency mechanical and facilities repairs and installations on an as-needed basis to the Milford Water Department facilities and locations as set forth in the bid specifications.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30 section 39M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 sections 26 to 27D inclusive. The Bid should be in an envelope bearing on the outside the name and address of the Proposer, addressed to the Milford Town Hall, Town Administrator and Select Board’s Office, 52 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757. The Bid must be properly filled out, signed, sealed and endorsed: "On-Call Mechanical and Facilities Repair for the Milford Water System".

The Bid documents will be available 10:00 am, September 30, 2021, at the Milford Town Hall, Town Administrator and Select Board’s Office, 52 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757 (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 11:30 am) and on the Town of Milford website. All bids are due by 2:00 pm, November 10, 2021, at the Milford Town Hall, Town Administrator and Select Board's Office, 52 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757. Bids shall be publicly opened and read by the Chief Procurement Officer at that time.

Questions concerning this invitation for bid must be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 PM, November 3, 2021, to:  Richard A. Villani, Town Administrator, 52 Main Street, Milford, MA  01757. No information will be provided by telephone. Questions may be delivered, emailed, or mailed. Written responses will be emailed or mailed to all bidders on record as having picked up the IFB.

The Water Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive any informality in a bid, and to award the contract deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Milford.
