The Town of Milford, through its Police Chief Selection Committee, seeks a professional executive search firm with a proven track record in placing Chiefs of Police or executive level law enforcement personnel in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Specifically, the successful firm shall design and implement an effective recruitment strategy for Milford’s next Chief of Police. Recruitment shall include, at a minimum, identifying and attracting several outstanding candidates through advertisements, mailings, cold-calling, networking, and the cultivation of hiring prospects locally, regionally, and nationally. Success will result in the Police Chief Selection Committee submitting three to five highly qualified candidates (unranked) to the Milford Board of Selectmen.

Inquiries regarding the information contained in this RFP shall be directed via email to the Town Administrators Office and will be responded to by email. The deadline for questions will be Friday, July 19, 2019 at 5:00 PM.

Proposals from invited participants are due at the office of the Town Administrator by 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 1st, 2019.
