The Town of Milford Highway Department invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for the Replacement/Installation of Steel Garage Doors at the Highway Department buildings located at 30 Front Street, Milford, Massachusetts as set forth in the bid specifications.

Bids are subject to M.G.L c.149 s44 A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 s26 to 27D inclusive. The Bid should be in an envelope bearing on the outside the name and address of the Proposer, addressed to the Highway Surveyor, Milford Highway Department, 30 Front Street, Milford, MA 01757. The Bid must be properly filled out, signed, sealed and endorsed: “Bid for Replacement/Installation of Steel Garage Doors at the Highway Department Buildings".

The Bid documents will be available 7:00 am, May 24, 2023, at the Milford Highway Department Office, 30 Front Street, Milford, MA 01757. (Monday, thur Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm) and on the Town of Milford website. All bids are due by 10:00 am, June 14, 2023, at the Milford Highway Department Office, 30 Front Street, Milford, MA 01757. Bids shall be publicly opened and read at that time.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference / Building Inspection will be held 10:00 am May 31, 2022, at the Milford Highway Department Office, 30 Front Street, Milford, MA 01757.

The Town of Milford reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in a bid. The Bid is to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
