The Town of Milford Highway Department and the Board of Selectman, the Awarding Authority, invites RFPs for the Engineering Services related to the Godfrey Brook Improvements Project – PDMC 19-04.  The section of the Godfrey Brook that is included in this project, is from Water Street to approximately 150-feet south of West Street. The project will be executed in accordance the Bidding\RFP Requirements and Contract Forms prepared by the Town of Milford.

RFPs will be accepted only from General Bidders who are qualified and eligible to bid on this Project. Incomplete RFP packages will be disqualified from consideration. Any RFP may be withdrawn by written request prior to the respective time scheduled for the opening of such RFPs or authorized postponement thereof. No RFP may be withdrawn for a period of t hir ty (30) calendar days, after opening of General RFPs. No telephone or telegraphic RFP, change in RFP or withdrawal of RFP will be received or recognized. No modification of any RFP will be considered by the Awarding Authority unless in writing, sealed and received by the Awarding Authority prior to the time established for the receipt of such RFP.

The RFP documents will be available 10:00 am, February 14, 2022, at the Milford Town Hall, Town Administrator and Select Board’s Office, 52 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757 (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 11:30 am) and on the Town of Milford website. All bids are due by 10:00 am, March 16, 2022, at the Milford Town Hall, Town Administrator and Select Board's Office, 52 Main Sreet, Milford, MA 01757. If for reasons beyond our control, the town hall is not open for regular business activities, the RFPs will be due the next business day at the same time. RFPs shall be publicly opened and read by the Chief Procurement Officer at that time.

A Pre-RFP Conference/site walk will be held 10:00 am March 3, 2022, at 9 Water Street/Intersection of Water Street & Thayer Street, Milford, MA 01757.

The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive any informality in a bid, and to award the contract deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Milford.
