Milford Youth Center Media Room Project Bid

The Select Board of the Town of Milford invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for the Milford Youth Center Media Room Project located at 24 Pearl Street, Milford, Massachusetts, 01757 as set forth in the bid specifications.

Bids are subject to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 s26 to 27D inclusive. The Bid should be in an envelope bearing on the outside the name and address of the Proposer, addressed to the Milford Town Hall, Town Administrator and Select Board’s Office, 52 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757. The Bid must be properly filled out, signed, sealed and endorsed: "Milford Youth Center Media Room Project".

The Bid documents will be available 12:30 pm, January 30, 2023, and on the Town of Milford website. Hard copies will be available at the Milford Town Hall, Office of Planning and Engineering 52 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757 (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 11:30 am) two (2) working days after written email request to Elizabeth Mainini for a non-refundable fee of $100.00. All bids are due by 10:00 am, March 1, 2023, at the Milford Town Hall, Town Administrator and Select Board's Office, 52 Main Street, Milford, MA 01757. Bids shall be publicly opened and read by the Chief Procurement Officer at that time.

  • A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Milford Youth Center (24 Pearl Street, Milford, MA 01757) on February 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
  • Bid Bond must accompany Bid. The bid bond will be executed in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid sum. Bids submitted without a properly executed bid bond will be considered non-responsive. 
  • Construction to start on April 3, 2023, substantial completion of the project to be approximately 90 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed.

The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive any informality in a bid, and to award the contract deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Milford.
